[past event]Ensemble Opus performance of Brahms, Shin and Penderecki

It was an honour to have my work presented alongside with works of Brahms and Penderecki at the winter season of Seoul International Music Festival which took in the week of 16.-20.December 2013

My piano quartet was performed on the 17th, which Mr. Krzystof Penderecki described as “interesting” and “provocative”.  I was nice to be acknowledged by the maestro although I was too ‘considerate’ of myself to bother him with taking a photograph together, hence the lack of evidence of such encounter.

I’m now torn between considering his remarks as a compliment or not – much like when Bryan Ferneyhough pointed at my score and said “this is a very brave thing to do.”
